Joe Barnes - LCL Class of 2006

Have you considered the magnitude of your name? Your name is far more powerful and significant than just the characters that represent it. A name is a word that represents everything you are known by, including your past, present, and future self. As the board of directors drew up plans for a new school in the Western Suburbs of Milwaukee, a name was needed. There were many ideas tossed around and eventually it was agreed to name the school after the community in which it was intended to serve, Lake Country. The addition of “Lutheran” was added to signify the basis of the school’s existence, which is founded on biblical truth.

Freshman Caroline Daniels shares what helped make her decision to go to LCL, and the other decisions along the way:

Today, we celebrate Veterans Day. We take a moment to pause and recognize the courage and sacrifice made by members of the U.S. armed forces and their families to protect our freedom. 

Many of our alumni are veterans, and some are still serving today. For our alumni spotlight, two brothers currently serving in the Navy and Marine Corps share their stories and memories of LCL. Chris Kelling (left, 2004) and Chad Kelling (right, 2005) are pictured here at Chris' graduation from Naval Officer Development School on October 19, 2018. 

We Teach Truth. 

What comes across as a simple statement often leads to a number of different questions, especially in the culture we currently live in.  Which truth? Whose truth? Does Truth even exist? These are all questions one could simply ask us (the LHSAGM) as we share our Brand message with people unfamiliar to us.
