"One of my friends encouraged me to try out for the musical. The community is so loving and caring. Before theatre I was very shy, I didn’t speak up too much. Ever since joining theatre, I’ve been able to put myself out there and be more confident in who I am...and in who God made me."

Lake Country Lutheran has an amazing group of donors and supporters that give annually to the Lightning Fund. These donors allow families in need to receive financial aid.  Currently, students' financial aid awards roll-over for all 4-years to give families confidence in their budget planning.  Only new students apply for financial aid.
LCL uses FACTS to assist with determining levels of donor funded financial aid for its families.  Please apply early and give yourself enough time.
This entire process can take up to 2-4 weeks.  The FACTS Financial Aid Application can be completed after April 15th, however, the majority of financial aid will be awarded to those families that meet the April 15th deadline.  Click here for application instructions.
For further questions about the FACTS application process or tuition assistance considerations, please contact the Director of Admissions, Mr. Carson Cantwell.

Scholarships are a great option for donors to invest in the lives of students based on the donor's specifications.  Eligibility is based on need, merit, or both.  Please see the details of each scholarship below.  If you are interested in starting a scholarship fund, please reach out to Mr. Carson Cantwell, Director of Admissions.

Lake Country Lutheran is supported by congregations of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod who are fundamental in creating communities rooted in Christian values, and inspiring and shaping students through an education in Christ.  These churches support our high school ministry by giving chapels, being present on-campus, offering youth groups, praying for our families, through financial support, and governance of our organization.  Lightning families who are members of these congregations receive a tuition discount of $2,000 per year.  To see if your church is on the list or if you would like to become a member at one of these churches, check out the list here.

The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) offers assistance for students who live outside of the cities of Milwaukee or Racine.  To qualify for this program you must live outside the cities of Milwaukee and Racine and you must meet the income requirements.  Applications must be submitted between the application dates.  Please contact the Director of Admissions for more information.
Application Dates:  February 1st - April 20th

Students who have a current or recent IEP may qualify for significant financial support through SNSP.  Students who qualify and receive a seat in this program, will only be responsible for a maximum of $4,000 in tuition.

Paper applications are available for each school year from July 1st to June 30th.  New and Transfer SNSP applications for the 2023-24 school year begin July 1st, 2023.  Applications must be submitted to LCL's SNSP administrator.  LCL is limited in the number of seats available each year.  If your student has an IEP, please reach out right away so we can discuss our SNSP program, the requirements, and the timeline.

Born out of the COVID-19 pandemic, we now have a fund specifically for families in desperate financial situations.  Similar to financial aid, this is donor-funded financial support.  Donors designed this fund to support returning students whose families are experiencing extreme financial circumstances. These are temporary financial awards and do not roll-over from year-to-year.  Please reach contact the Director of Admissions for more information.
