Lake Country Lutheran has grown its Dual Enrollment and apprenticeship programs over the last few years. Through Waukesha County Technical College, the Dual Enrollment Academy provides students an opportunity to take college courses in 10 different high-demand fields while still in high school. Students attend WCTC in the morning and LCL in the afternoon, earning both high school and college credits. Once they complete their program, students can choose to enter the workforce or continue at the post-secondary level.

Classes students can choose from have a wide variety of career fields. Academies are: Automation Systems, Building Construction Trades, Building Construction Trades - Electrical Apprenticeship, Criminal Justice Studies, Early Childhood Education Preschool, Firefighter/EMT, IT Systems Specialist, Pre-Nursing, Tool and Die/CNC, and Welding/Fabrication.

LCL also just added a Youth Apprenticeship program which allows high school Juniors and Seniors an opportunity to explore and gain experience in a career area of interest. Students earn high school credit and earn wages as they are guided by a local business mentor. To be a part of this program, students complete an application, interview, and get hired by a local business. Apprenticeships are available in over 50 different career program areas. While this program is benefiting the student by providing experience, knowledge, and connections, it is also beneficial to the businesses involved as it aligns education and workforce development for mutual benefit.

Areas of concentration include: Agriculture, Architecture & Construction, Art, Finance, Health Science, Hospitality, IT, Manufacturing, Marketing, STEM, and Transportation/Distribution/Logistics.
