Academics

LCL aims to maximize individual potential and enhances the skills necessary for success. LCL provides a challenging, comprehensive, college preparatory curriculum from a Biblical worldview while offering a range of electives to supplement students’ academic experience. The school features strong Advanced Placement courses and online and in-person dual credit programs, enabling significant college tuition savings.

Pathways

Pathways provides juniors and seniors with the opportunity to explore future careers through focused pathways in: (1) Business, (2) Engineering, (3) Medical Sciences, and (4) Ministry & Education.

The program combines rigorous academics with intentional career exploration, leadership development, college planning, and standardized test preparation. Students participate in a weekly seminar, where they receive personalized guidance and hear from professionals in their field of interest.

AP & Dual Credit Program

With the average student taking over 5 college level courses, LCL students leave with a firm academic foundation for college. It is not uncommon for LCL students to start a semester or year ahead of other students upon entering college.

  • AP results consistently score above state and national averages.
  • WCTC dual credit students go to courses from 8am-12pm daily and arrive at LCL for lunchtime and their final three class periods.
  • Dual Credit partnerships allow students to take a wide range of classes such as Sports Management, Digital Video Production, Marketing Principals, Firefighter/EMT, Welding/Fabrication, etc.
