SENIOR PICTURES

The Yearbook staff will need a portrait of your senior for production of the 2023-2024 yearbook by October 31st, 2023.

This photo can be provided directly by the photographer or may be sent to us from you.

Senior photos are a great way to creatively remember this milestone year, but for the purpose of consistency in the published yearbook, the yearbook staff needs submitted pictures that meet certain criteria. Please be sure to note and share with your photographer these guidelines for yearbook Senior photos:

·       Photo must be a full-color, head and shoulder pose.

·       All portraits must strictly follow the standards of the school dress code, which includes no ripped clothing, shoulders covered, no hats, no clothing with inappropriate sayings or advertising.

·       No pets or props allowed in yearbook Senior photos.

·       For best image quality in the published yearbook, an electronic jpeg version is preferred over a hard copy of the photograph, but either will be accepted.

Additionally for the yearbook, we would also like a baby picture of your student turned in by October 31st, 2023.

Electronic copies of photos can be sent to LCLyearbook@lakecountryhs.org. Hard copy versions can be turned into the LCL school office.

If you have any yearbook questions, please contact advisors Mrs. Hirt or Mrs. Schultz. Correspondence sent to the LCLyearbook@lakecountryhs.org address will reach both yearbook advisors.

Thank you in advance for assisting us in collecting these visual memories in a timely manner.

WISCONSIN TAX DEDUCTION

Beginning with the tax year 2014, the State of Wisconsin introduced legislation (Wis. Stat. § 71.05(6)(b)49), in which private school tuition payments paid on or after January 1, 2014 are eligible for an annual income tax deduction. Qualified taxpayers may potentially claim up to the deduction limit ($4,000 in 2021) for each dependent child in grades Kindergarten through 8th and up to the deduction limit ($10,000 in 2021) for each dependent child in grades 9th through 12th. Tuition claimed must be paid in the tax year in which it is being filed.

For any payments made for the tax year, you will need to access the tax form from Finalsite (formerly called SchoolAdmin).  To obtain your tuition payments, log into your Finalsite account and click the billing tab.  The tax statement is a link located within the ledger header. If you have any questions, Student Accounts can be reached at 414-261-0280.

For more information on how to claim these expenses, click on the Wisconsin Department of Revenue form: Schedule PS - Private School Tuition. In preparing the form, taxpayers will need our FEIN which is 39-0889672, as well as the amount of tuition paid last year.

SCRIP is now Raise Right

What Is Scrip/ Raise Right?
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”.  When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for our organization. Check out participating retailers.

How  Scrip/ Raise Right generates revenue for you
The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools and other non‑profit organizations to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. Our organization buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value. The discount ‑ from two to fifteen percent or more – is our organization’s revenue that is shared with you.

Scrip/ Raise Right is "shopping cart fundraising”
Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families don’t have to sell anything. Organization members produce revenue by making regular household purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip.

Begin Using Scrip/ Raise Right today!
Sign up and begin ordering Scrip today for your family. Register online and use enrollment code: 11FBD1BD25949
Or get the App on your phone. Check out the tutorial video here!

Orders are due on Tuesdays (if you select to pay with check please make checks payable to LCL) and should be ready for pick up in the school office on Fridays.  Orders will not be placed during the shortened holiday/vacation weeks.
The Scrip/ Raise Right program is carrying an inventory of cards available to purchase in the office.  This is a simple way to buy your favorite gas, grocery and restaurant cards without the wait.  Can't make it? No worries, send your student to the office with cash or check  and they can shop for you.
We will be carrying the following (inventory may increase or change due to demand):
Culvers $10
Kwik Trip $25 and $50
Sign up and order forms will be available at time of purchase if an item you would like is not in stock.
The rebates vary with each of these businesses (some as high as 25% cash back).  The profits are split with LCL. What a great way to help pay for your student's tuition just by shopping for food and gas, while supporting the school (money goes to tuition assistance).  At the end of the year (End of June) we send you an email asking how you would like your rebate: Apply to tuition, Check sent to you or Donate back to the school.
