Monday: review for Unit 1 Test

Tuesday: Unit 1 Test

Wednesday: go over syllabus for first project, begin to discuss next unit (on cultural make up of the U.S.), discuss Native Americans (characteristics) and students will work with a partner on selected tribes (3) and characteristics (4) of each tribe (due tomorrow) 

Thursday: collect partner work from yesterday, discuss interactions between the Native Americans and Colonists that came over from Europe, essay (150 words) on "taking the side of either a Native American or Colonist, how would you have felt regarding the early interactions between those two groups of people"?  (due tomorrow)

Friday: collect and discuss essays, notes on why the colonists came to North America
