ACT Test
General Information: This test should be taken at least once during a student's junior year of high school. The test is a college entrance exam and is accepted by most post-secondary institutions. The highest scores are taken and are necessary to complete applications for education beyond high school. Testing should take place prior to a student's senior year. The writing portion of the test is encouraged, but please also check with your possible colleges/universities to see if they require it for admission.
Review Sessions: LCLHS offers review sessions on all four content areas tested on the ACT. These are offered once each semester, during October and then again in January. Students are highly encouraged to take advantage of these evenings and the testing materials distributed.
Dates of Reviews: Monday, Oct. 13 7:00-9:00pm (Math and Science)
Wednesday, Oct. 15 12:30-2:30pm (English/Writing and Reading)
